Years ago I had progressives that drove me nuts. I think they make them different these days in that my new ones are truly progressive from top to bottom and no need to turn your head this way or that. I use only this pair for computer work so they're always near my computer. Only thing I don't like about them is that the lenses are plastic and are very hard to clean. Try to get the lenses in glass.
Awww, no you don't. Take it easy on yourself. You'll never please everyone, but you'll probably please most.
I recommend the Peace Prayer of St. Francis. I've memorized it so I can say it first thing in the morning. The line, "where there is injury, pardon" refers to healing the sick. Here it is, if anyone is interested.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.
Speaking of prayer banks, I believe that when I pray for another person, that prayer goes into THEIR prayer bank and it is released when they are ready to receive it--maybe at that moment or in their future.
Fresh thoughts expressed in a rhythm the inside of my head swayed to. Thank you!
It just keeps coming back in one form or another like the monster in a horror flick. Ask me. I know all too well. In fact, I've got to slay one right now. Thank you, Kimberly, for sending me to my journal to do that deep dive I don't want to do.
